Johnny
has been living with his mother all his life in a small townhouse
sitting on the outskirts of London, United Kingdom.
Johnny is 19 and have been suffering from cancer for a number of years, a
cancer that cannot be treated and he could die at any moment. Nearly
all his life, Johnny was stuck at home and his mother had taken good
care of him. He seldom went out to social with his friends but since its
such a Sunny day, Johnny decided to go out for a change. So he asked
his mother and she gave him permission.
After dressing himself and making sure he had pocketed his wallet, he
eventually left. Johnny arrives at the shopping center which was only a
15 minute walk from where he lived. The very first store that came into
Johnny's vision was the CD store, he decides to go in and see if they
had anything he would like.
A young girl aged 19 working at the cashier caught Johnnys attention,
and despite bumping into other people in front of him, he got closer and
closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.
She looked up and said, "Good afternoon, how may I help you today?"
The smile Johnny received from the young girl, swept Johnnys feet right
off the ground. It was the most cute and beautiful smile he had ever
seen, and he even wanted to give her a kiss right on the spot.
He replied, "Oh yeah, I would like to buy a cd."
He then picks one up not even knowing who the singer was and pays for
it.
The young girl asked, "Would you like me to wrap it up for you?", and
again giving Johnny the same smile as before.
Johnny agrees, so there she goes to wrap up the CD.
Two mintues later she returned with the wrapped CD and gave it to him.
"Thank you very much and we shall meet again." said Johnny.
Later that day, Johnny was walking home only to think about the young
girl with the most beautiful smile, and from then on, everyday he went
to the same store to buy a CD.
Every day, after reaching home from the CD store, Johnny would place the
CD into his closet until he realize he needs more space for storage. He
buys a CD rack and so the problem was solved.
Three months has passed and Johnny is still too shy to even offer a date
out with the young girl, he really wanted to ask but he has no courage.
Soon, his mother found out about this and she even tried to help him.
She said, "Dear, Find yourself, for courage and confidence are as easy
as breathing to the person who really knows who he is. "
The following day, with the wisdom Johnny had learned from his mother,
he went back to the store. He bought a CD like he did everyday and as he
was paying for his CD, he delibertly gives the young girl the cash with
a note under it stating his phone number written on the front.
Back at Johnny's home, after counting how many CD's he had purchased
from day one until today, totalled at exactly 100. Johnny then decides
to cut down on the CD purchases and never showed up at the CD store for
one whole week.
Seven days later, the young girl is wondering why in a sudden would
Johnny give her his phone number and not showing up for one whole week?
She decides to call him up tomorrow morning.
"Ring ring ring ring ring"
The mother picked up the phone and said "Hello?"
It was the young girl! She happily asked for Johnny. In response,
Johnny's mother paused for at least thirty seconds because she had no
control from stopping the tears draining her eyes.
After wiping the tears of her eyes, Johnny's mother said "He passed away
two days ago."
The line was quiet except for the cries from his mother.
Later in the same day, the mother went into Johnnys room because she
knew that even if Johnny isn't here, his spirit will forever remain by
the side of her. She folded some clothes which belonged to Johnny and
placed them back into his closet. When she opened the closet, suddenly a
stack of CD's had fallen out onto the floor.
She was surprised to find a few stacks of CD's all over his bedroom, and
as she picked one up, she sat down on the bed starting to open one.
Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out of the wrapper, out fell a
piece of paper. The mother picked it up and started to read . . .
Hi, I think you are really cute. Do you wanna go out with me?
>>>>> Love Jacelyn <<<<<
Johnny's mother opened another CD...
And again there was a piece of paper saying, " Hi, I think you are
really cute. Do you wanna go out with me? " >>>>> Love
Jacelyn <<<<<
~~~ Thinking time ~~~
My personal thoughts : You will never know if the person you have fallen
in love with is the one who will be there when you most need them and
STILL be there when you don't . Theres no other way to find out unless
the both of you are willing to accept the consequences after a painful
outcome.
According to how shy Johnny was, if he had known how strong confidence
and courage was, than the young girl and Johnny would have got together
(Disregard this was based on an Inspirational sad story).
Love is ... When you've had a huge fight but then decide to put aside
your egos, hold hands and say, " I love you."
Thanks for reading everyone.
